Showcase of Stars
October 16 2013 Showcase (Class of 2014)

1 Cory Waycaster Height: 6-5
Weight: Grade: 2014
School: Home Address: Elkhart,Indiana
Comments:
He narrowly defeated Mallers, Coverstone and Hartman for player of the day . They were all good but he was just better this day inside and out on defense and offense to 23'. He hit treys, scored in mid range, scored around basket and owned the boards at both ends of the court. His motor never stopped and reminded us of former Purdue star and NBA Player Brian Cardinal. The strangest thing is Dad told us he had been out rehabbing several months from a knee injury and this was his first time playing out of shape. If that is the case then every prep in America should have their knee rebuilt by his Doctor because he flat out was better and stronger than all of the other day's participants. He is a D1 SF in our book but NCAA D2 and NAIA schools win championships with his prolific game at both ends of the court.

2 Ben Langen Height: 5-10
Weight: Grade: 2014
School: Home Address: Hamilton,Ohio
Comments:
Outstanding stout and strong lead guard we remember from last Fall. He leads all day , defends the ball and does whatever necessary to help his team win. His skill set is very good while he also can work on lofting his jumper with some more arc when he reaches the top of his jump on jumpers. His strength and playmaking skill set is college ready now and his intense approach to such a showcase predicts that all midwest small colleges and junior colleges should recruit him this senior season.

3 Law Jones Height: 6-1
Weight: Grade: 2014
School: Home Address: Powell,Ohio
Comments:
Very physical ,tuff player at both ends of the court. He relentlessly attacked the basket at both ends of the court and also scored well when he had the open shot. His ferocious efforts all day diving for loose balls and battling for boards resulted in respect from all participants and this service while Law rode home to Ohio with sore ankle..All Midwestern NAIA,NCAA D3-D2 schools should be inspecting his game for their programs. You cannot teach the combination of physical aggression and skill that Jones offers.

4 TJ Straessle Height: 6-2
Weight: Grade: Grad
School: Home Address: Ft. Wayne,Indiana
Comments:
Freshman at IPFW - University. He seeks an opportunity for college basketball. He played well all day at both ends of the court and showed the necessary strength to compete physically in college. Excellent small college or junior college prospect now and a good prospect to walk on at IPFW..

5 Javonte Wilson Height: 6-0
Weight: Grade: Grad.
School: Home Address: Ft. Wayne,Indiana
Comments:
Hi energy play at both ends of the court with his excellent quicks on defense and his perimeter playmaking/scoring was elite. Best fit for him is Junior College basketball at Ancilla or in small college.
